The Raspberry Pi build brings the same pearOS desktop to ARM64 boards. It shares the same underlying project and community as the x86 builds, and it is a Public Beta: expect rough edges and please report what you find.

A disk image for an SD card, USB drive or NVMe. No installer to run.
Set up on first boot
The same setup assistant as on x86 asks for your account, password and name, and the system grows to fill your card.

Free to download. If it is useful to you, you can chip in when you download, like on every other pearOS build.

What you need
- • A Raspberry Pi 4 or 5 (4 GB of RAM or more recommended)
- • A 32 GB or larger microSD card, USB drive or NVMe
- • A screen, keyboard and mouse for the first boot
How to install
- 1. Download the
.img.xzimage below (pay what you want, or skip). - 2. Write it with Raspberry Pi Imager (Use custom) or balenaEtcher. Both read
.img.xzdirectly. - 3. Boot the Pi and follow the setup assistant.
